    • Look directly into the camera.
    • Ensure your face is centered in the photo.
    • Do not wear accessories such as sunglasses, hats, or caps.
    • Make sure only you appear in the photo (no other people or animals).
  2. Give consent During the upload process, we ask for your explicit consent to process the biometric data.
  3. No facial recognition? No problem! If you prefer not to use facial recognition, please inform the reception. We offer an alternative, such as:
    • A QR code via the app.

Privacy and Data Management

When using facial recognition, we respect your privacy:

  • Processing: Your photo is converted into a face template by our provider EasySecure.
  • Deletion: The photo and template are deleted immediately after your reservation ends, unless you consent to keeping the data for future visits. Retention period if photo must be kept. If you have given permission to keep the photo and template, they will be stored for 180 days until after departure day. 
  • GDPR compliance: We ask for explicit consent to process biometric data, ensuring that your data is handled securely and in accordance with privacy laws.
